Off to the Bahamas

Boy it’s been a while since I posted here. We had some grand plans for October and the boat show. God had some other plans for me. Family needed me and that was right where I needed to be. Everyone is on the mend now and Shane had the itch. It’s post Christmas and the college kid is home which means Shane decided a trip was in order.

To prepare for the trip in early December Shane and a couple of buddies took the boat from New Bern down the ICW to Fort Lauderdale. 12 days of adventure to wet his appt for a bigger adventure. I didn’t go on that trip so you will have to wait for our return to see the sights of the ICW.

Shane left the boat there at a marina, came home to celebrate Christmas and now we are off on an adventure to the Bahamas! I will post here often during the trip mainly to keep a log for myself of our adventures and all the things that come along over the next month or so. Here's to a new year of boating adventures!
